About Longclocks
We are located in the ancient stannery town of Helston, on the edge of The Lizard Peninsular, in Cornwall.
Helston is currently going through some radical changes and we are seeing the appearance of dual language signs throughout the town and its business community are very interested in this unusual transformation. It is making us noticed and there are many people around the world who have either Cornish roots or are interested in the culture.
You may wish to look at the Cornish Language site on http://www.kernewek.co.uk

Here at Longclocks we are currently building our No1 of 50 Millennium clock.
It will eventually have a face with our famous 'Furry Dance' painted on the arch of the clockface, while the four corners will depict flowers that are displayed on Flora Day in Helston i.e. Bluebell, White garlic bell, Gorse and Lilly of the Valley.
Meanwhile the body of the clock is to be crafted out of rare 'Black Walnut' which will eventually be French Polished by hand by our local expert.
The movement and weights will not be fully fitted until the clock is back from the polishers. THIS CLOCK WILL PROBABLY COST £3,000 ex works.

If you are possibly interested in one of these future heirlooms we would be pleased to discuss your ideas and give you a price. They will be snapped up all too quickly as soon as the first one is able to be inspected.

We have been assured that the local Helston Flora Museum in Church Street is keen to have the first clock on display as it will be of immense interest to locals and visitors alike.

WE CAN, OF COURSE PRODUCE ANY CLOCK YOU MAY DESIRE and WE ALSO PRODUCE CHEAPER MODELS from £950 ex works.
